Designing your programme . . .

Just as every organisation is different, so are their needs. It therefore makes sense that any external training needs to match the particular situation of each and every organisation at that particular time.

  • We always start with a blank sheet of paper and design from scratch. We do not take a Blue Peter approach of “here’s one we designed earlier”.
  • Working with you we set out our thoughts on how we might add value without undermining any current processes and procedures.
  • We discuss with you what outcomes you need, and how you will measure success.
  • We involve and engage the target audience in the programme planning so that they are emotionally part of the solution not just the recipients of yet another initiative.
  • We plan with you the style and content in detail so that we match the needs and learning styles of the individuals and we ensure that the programmes are stimulating, fun and memorable.
  • We work with you to ensure that once back at work, line managerial support and internal processes and procedures complement the learning, and that the individuals have regular discussions about their action plans for change.
  • We ensure that the learning is transferred back into the reality of the workplace and that the programme and learning remains fresh and relevant.
  • By agreeing KPIs with you as part of the design process, we make it easy to see where the potential in your people is being released and thus measure the return on your investment.


Above all we make sure that you are always kept informed of how the programme is progressing and what the common themes are (without breaking confidences) so that you and we are able to flex and amend the programme in light of experience.
